Erin Winebark

The Arts have always been Erin Winebark's first love. When she was seven years old, Erin began to play the piano. At age 10, her music teacher noticed that she seemed to have an ear for music, and she added clarinet, and then bassoon at age 14. In her early teen years, Erin began to get involved in her school musicals, and soon developed a passion for theater.

This passion for the arts led her to major in Music Education at The Robert E. Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, concentrating on Bassoon with minors in Piano and Voice. While at IUP, Erin was active in the university Wind Ensemble, Symphony Band, Bassoon Ensemble, and Sigma Alpha Iota, an all-female music fraternity. During this time, Erin studied bassoon with Dr. Jason Worzbyt, conducting with Dr. Jack Stamp, and music theory and composition with Dr. Charles Casavant. She studied abroad in Vienna, Austria, won the Sigma Alpha Iota National Undergraduate Scholarship, and maintained a 3.97 GPA. Upon completion of her student teaching at The King's School in Worcester, England, Erin then moved to New York City to pursue her love of acting at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Erin continues to reside in Manhattan, direct, act, and play bassoon in the occasional mock rock band.
